Im looking for input from the guys that use stocking foot waders and boots. Mine absolutely kill my feet! Boots too small or is it just water pressure crushing my toes?

boots! Can't beat a great pair of boots when on your feet all day! Always try on the boots WITH your waders on to get best fit. If buying from a store, put on a pair of neoprene socks to simulate your waders.

Ok sounds like the boots are the problem then. Normally I wear 11.5 and my boots are 12.

I just spent the weekend on the beach wearing waders the whole time. My feet didn't stop hurting until Tuesday. I have a 10-1/2 foot and wear the size 13 wading boots. There's got to be a better way.

Definitely go a size up, especially if you wear booties like these :CLICK. I don't like to wear those styles because the boot is narrow. I wear the lace up style which let's me wiggle my toes some.

I have to go up two, and in some cases three, sizes of boots with waders. As suggested above, try them on with the waders on.

I just bought new boots for my new Simms waders. I had to go from an 11 to a 14.

Yep, you'll need a larger size than your normal shoe size.

Hodgeman booties and khaki wade fish pants, easy on the feet and back - you won't need those waders in a couple of weeks where I wade fish.

I go over wade fishing gear on my DVD.

I'm right there with grinder55, upsizing shoe size is big. I wear a 10-10.5 and my wading boots are 11-12 (12 in sims). Also, if you have a wide foot, try out the Cabela's brand boot, my dad had this issue for a little while. Just make sure your feet have ample room. If that doesn't work, i don't know what to tell you, maybe put an insole in the bottom? I don't know.

In corpus, it's not quite there yet, but it's getting close. I haven't started seeing anyone wading wet yet, but just feeling the water, it's just about right to start making the shift.

The water temps in CC are around 70 degrees as of the past week or so. Last week I wet waded the Padre Island surf out to mid thigh and it was no problem. You get used to it pretty quick. The spring fed pools like Landa Park in New Braunfels and Barton Springs in Austin are 68 degrees year round. It feels cold at first, but like I said, you get used to it.
