If your talking about Buggs T Fishing, then yes sir. They are a great lure. I have used them for years, especially for catching redfish. They cannot resist it, the action on them is great, the pan head really allows the bait to flutter as you jig it. Almost every fish i have ever caught on it has swalllowed it. It is also a great bait for beginners to throw, if they arent sure about the lure scene. I make sure my customers carry one as we fish through out the day. Highly reccomended.

I have not had a chance to fish with them yet but I bought all the materials and have been making my own "buggs" for about two weeks now. I have about 10 made in different colors and I always test my hand tied jigs in a large glass jar. The action of the rabbit fur is outstanding! It floats up from the flat jig head which makes the jig stand up on the bottom with the rabbit fur floating upwards. It is amazing to watch the action on these things and know that fish will hit them with everything they got!

Here's a shot of some of the Buggs I toss...........

L-R: Hydra Jig (electric chicken), Double Bunny Jig (white stripe) and Beastie Bugg (blue crab)

The rabbit fur never stops moving. The Hydra has double rattle chambers and a screw lock on the hook shank for adding a tail if desired. Great stuff!

I submitted a post a couple of days ago. It disappeared, for some reason (could it be because computers hate me, and I hate 'em right back?). Anyway, I fly fish, so I don't use Buggs jigs. Just too heavy to cast with a 5 wt. or a 7 wt. But several friends of mine do, and they consistently catch fish on them. And I know the guy who conceived them, and builds (ties, like a fly) them; Heath Hippel. Heath is a fluff chucker like me, and he ties his own flies like me. Not sure why he decided to start tying jigs, but a lot of folks are glad he did. Heath's jigs catch fish. Consistently. And Heath is a good guy; he is an ethical, honest man of integrity. I have spoken to Heath extensively on the phone, by email, and in person -- face to face -- over the past few years. Several friends of mine know him well. He lives fairly close to me, although I have never invaded the privacy of his home. Heath is a family man who loves to fish. Like I was, when I had a family. Heath is a man who you can do business with confidently; he will never cheat you or deceive you. I tell you this as someone who knows the man; I do not work for him, I have no business affiliation with him, I and owe him nothing. I respect him, because I have seen that he puts his family and his spiritual convictions above monetary gain.

Try his product, and let him know what you think of it. You'll be glad you did.
