I am going to try out Granger tomorrow for the first time. Ill be in a boat but have no sonar. Ill probably pick up some minnows and maybe have a catfish rod too. Any advice under these circumstances? Honelty even if i catch no fish a monday fishing instead of working will be awesome.

This time of the year, head up the San Gabriel that feeds it and you'll catch some crappie and whites, almost guaranteed.
