I like the Ranger.

Are you going to pull the trigger soon?

Bought a "new to me" Ranger last spring, and I'm still finding little things that were engineered and built into it. Amazing quality and craftsmanship everywhere you look. Can't speak for the G3, but you won't be disappointed in the Ranger. Oh, and they hold their value in case you ever decided to get a bigger boat. thumb

I like my G3, but the Ranger is a great boat too. The dealership will make the difference... They are not all equal!

Both boats look great but I would choose ranger because of the built in flotation. I don't think the G3 has it but could be wrong.

Don't sweat the small stuff. It's all small stuff.

Resale will be better with a Ranger. But buy whatever you think you can afford. Also what type of water will you be fishing in. Look at your storage needs also!

All fishermen are legends in their own minds! Ranger Boats, Yamaha Outboards, Humminbird Electronics,Motor guide, and all the tackle in the world.

Fair weather mostly. Not mad enough at crappie to fight Mother Nature. Brushpiles mostly some timber, bridges, and creeks. Motor Guide Xi5 with pinpoint and Helix graphs. Just need room for rods, jig tackle box and life jackets, tool kit...... Maybe rain jacket just incase.

I have a Ranger, my thoughts were resale, safety, and a dealer is one mile from my place on Fork, and the Manager
told me to put him on speed dial if I need him. So far excellent service and boat. RT188.

Is that Diamond Sports Marine Jim? I talked with them and that is who I would buy from. Cabelas is closer but is ridiculous to work with.

That Ranger flotation has to be one of the greatest marketing shams in history!

A friend has a G3 bass boat and it is one of the roughest riding boats I have ever been in. The 150 4stroke is sweet though.
