How does caddo fish on windy days. Seems like with all the trees it would be the place to go if it was windy on the day you were able to go fishing

Your intuition is correct. Wind is rarely a factor on Caddo. There is always somewhere you can tuck out of the wind and unless you're out on the main lake it will never get rolling on you

The salvinia really slows down the rollers.
Love that lake, but good Lord, it's eaten up.

Caddo is best it's been in years so far this year. Should b a great year. Don't worry bout windy days on Caddo. It was 30 plus couple weeks ago and I had zero issues!

I've not fished Caddo for several years, but used to be there every weekend. Windy days were usually the best fishing days. In the spring, a pre-front windy day would really turn the bite on. Fish the trees with a 12" worm while the wind moves the water. And hang on!

Yesterday was tough as not a single limit weighed in by some of the best around on Caddo. It's been hit or miss. Week day fishing has been the best. I stroked them 2 weeks ago with roughly 28lbs in 45 mins. Then was done for day. Flipping bite is best
