I've fished most of my life and still enjoy it. I'm thinking of getting my Guiding license and do it part time. What I would like to target is people, or families that have no boat and want to learn to fish. Teaching basics on casting, how to choose an area, and how to become a better fisherman. I'm no pro so I'm not into pre tournament scouting. Interested in father and sons, mother and daughters, etc. Would target bass and crappie and maybe catfish. I am semi-retired and usually fish 3-4 times a week. I will fish local lakes. I don't plan on getting rich by doing this, but want to pass on the love of the outdoors and catching fish. Tell me what you think!

All fishermen are legends in their own minds! Ranger Boats, Yamaha Outboards, Humminbird Electronics,Motor guide, and all the tackle in the world.

My first thoughts if I looked at using you would be who are you and do you know what you are talking about and would I get my monies worth if I was to use you. Besides the standard customer acquisition, advertising issues and insurance, go for it. I'd look for local lakes that don't offer guide services. You'll have to put your time in and make a name for yourself so people will come looking for you.

If you feel strongly about providing a good service and you're passionate about guiding, you should do it.

If you get into this please don't forget the vets. A lot of the young people coming back from overseas need someone like you for a day or more.

Find a lake or lakes and get good at targeting what ever species you want to specialize in.

Sounds like a great gig
