I haven't been there since the last big fish kill 4-5 years ago.. I haven't heard anything at all on the forum about it in awhile.

It was good last summer, landed about 8 of these while camping there for 3 days from the bank in the state park by the pier and the "beach" swimming area.

I'd love to go back there!

That picnic table should still be there and from the buoy in the background, you can see my location. All along that shoreline...pier is just on that north tip there, but didn't see anyone catching them there. That swim area was great though, 6 feet of water and they were nailing minnows.

There was good night fishing there too by the pier by the boat ramp. Parking lot light was malfunctioning then, and stayed on all night. Made it easy to see.

Was out there this weekend, but in a Kayak. The bass are coming back, even after the big fish kill. Plenty of fish to be had from the ban,, most of the fish live shallow there anyways.

That lakes been back for a couple of years now, just no one was talking about it til this winter.

I can be a pain in the arse to fish from the bank out there. The place MrNovice shows is of the better bank fishing spots. It's open and easy to get around. You can drag a c rig thru the swimming area and almost always catch a few.
