changed out the lube in my 2000 Merc XR6 150 the lube that came out was blue,the lube that went in was the color of oil,the bottle says quicksilver premium gear lube,am I ok, or did I put the wrong lube in the last time?

You may have put the High performance lube in it. No problem whatsoever. Your motor calls for the regular lube and the Premium lube is just a step up in protection. No worries.

If you want the best protection you can get look for Mercury High Performance Lube. Synthetic lube that stills holds lubricity qualities if you get some water intrusion. I get it at Academy for about 8 bucks.

no problem in mixing the two,and why are we no fishing
