No other answer needed get the martins map it has all the info you need. Caught my fish yesterday on a spot I found on my martins map first time fishing that spot.

Can you get one of those from the Dam Store, Sportsman's, or do you have to order online?

Sort of related to Honey Hole...
Bill Wilcox is one of three people who are acknowledged as helping to put together the Hook-N-Line map of Ray Roberts. It has approximately 130 points of interest and their GPS coordinates. For fishing spots, it tells what type of fish you're likely to find there and during what months.
I have a Martin's map for another lake and it is definitely very detailed with tons of good info. However, the color scheme and fonts used are harder for these old eyes to read. There is a GPS grid that you have to use to figure out the coordinates of a spot. Overall, a lot of the map includes advertisements that limit the size of the actual lake portion of the map.
I don't think that there is any one best map since they all have strong points. Make the Tackle Monkey happy and get a couple and really dissect the lake.

MARTINS map ordered from online. Excellent information on Roberts...coordinates to brush piles/humps/roads and foundations and YES it names the individual creeks and coves. Laminated and well worth the money spent.

I've had a Honey Hole book so long that the pages are falling apart. I use it conjunction with the Martins map to get ideas of places to go to. I've fished that lake so much since the mid '90's that I know places to go all over the east side but have only been on the west side a couple of times and didn't do squat, so I stay east of the main lake point and can find a new place or 2 every time I go out. Now whether there are fish there when I'm there is always the big question.
