I had the weekend off and loaded the family up , wife and 4 sons, and came to PK. Would anyone be kind enough to share where the striper and whites have been hanging around lately?

The gap between Costello Island and the West shoreline is usually good for sandies. Look for bends in the river channel and use your fish finder. There is a deep water flat in front of Bee Creek that may be holding fish. The channel bend in front of the cove going into Willow Beach can be good as well.

Good Luck.

Mebo 31 I am hoping you did better than me. Fished PK today and tried the crappie first thing - no luck. Went after some sandies up river and caught a fair number of them in the Costello Island gap. Problem was most of them were small males. Surface temp said 53 degrees but those fish felt much colder.

"Don't tell anybody." the old timer, from Fox Hollow, told me "but try here along this drop." I said "Ok I won't tell." They had a boat load of whites headed home to Sweetwater when I ran into him headed to Phantom. I figure there is plenty for everyone.
