I finally got around to editing some GoPro footage from our Devils River trip back in April of 2015. There will be one more video for sure with a few more fish than this one 5 inch one. The river was everything I expected and then some. If you like skinny water fishing youth is River is worth every penny and then some.
This video is geared more towards the experience.

Thanks Rick. I'll keep plugging away. It was hard to remember to hit the record button and not just sit back and "enjoy the ride" so to speak.

That is some gorgeous water. Can't wait to get down there one day and experience that trip for myself!

Thanks guys.

@B_Rod The first couple days it rained and misty all day, but I wouldn't say it was cold. It was chilly when the sun went down though. I did have to break out base layer long johns one evening. I used a sleeping bag rated for 50F degrees and I think it was perfect for the trip.
The third day it was comfortable to actually get in the water.

Nice video. Probably will and should start a new thread but was wondering if you had any generic fishing set up tips for a multiday trip on the devils. Never taken a kayak overnight and we have our devils permits for early june. Will have both a fly and spinner.

Thanks in advance. I am ready to join the Devils club.
