I was going to say, can you use a standard puller, I think you can rent one at autozone for free.

I was going to say, can you use a standard puller, I think you can rent one at autozone for free. Unless you rig some chains on one those usually dont work that great on props.

I pulled a stuck prop more than once using the chain method. I got the idea from a mechanic that would pull rear axels that were stuck this way. Take a fairly heavy 20-30ft pull chain and wrap and hook ends around the prop behind the blades, twist chain getting the 2 ends as opposite as you can, get on end away from the prop, put gloves on and lift the chain up as high as you can then pop it like a whip. It will give.

It will give. I could see this working as long as the chain doesnt come loose from the prop.

Next time i will paying a pro!!!!! Good news! I take my prop off every few trips to check for line and keep it lubed.

Glad you got it off. I use Anti Seize on just about everything that will ever have to come apart again. Great stuff.

Man!!!!
A lot of work later. Re-wired much of the boat. Fixed broke leaf spring, throttle gear and warm up button.
Hammered and chiselled off old prop, reworked shaft, water pump.gear cable, and more,,,
But now runs like a champ !!!!
