Just curious and wanted to get some opinions. I know every case will be different but how long do yall think that after a fish has been caught that the same fish will bite again.

Used to have a fish on a bed in Williams, several years ago, that we nickname Mikey cause Mikey would eat anything, anytime. He would get caught released go back to the bed and almost immediately get caught again. I sat on that bed for about 15 minutes one day and caught that fish about 10 times just seeing how long he would play. Next day same thing. I got bored and tired before he did. I guess to answer your question, each case is different but I don't think it is as long as most people think.
FISHING NOW NOT WORKING ANYMORE

Ditto. Same thing happened to me. Amazing but don't know if this applies only to bedding fish or any time.

Caught the same bass off a bed 3 times in 30 min. Me too. Another time, I was throwing a squarebill in a creek in West Texas when I was younger, it glanced off of a stump and I got a bit, 3lb fish. Let him go, made the next cast, halfway in - boom, another bite. It was clearly the same fish, I could see my previous hook marks. I threw him back and made a really long cast, when that lure hit that stump, he nailed it again, same fish. And that fish wasn't even spawning, this was mid summer. He was just dumb and hungry.

They don't quit eating just cuz they been caught before. A buddy of mine said that once to me. Funny how true it is.
"When you set the hook, break the rod!" "Every bite I've ever had has been a reaction bite."

Had a fish on and the line broke. About 20 minutes later caught a fish-on a jig-and he had my first jig in his mouth.
