So I JUST learned about rainbow trout stocking in TX, this last month and have been hitting these 2 areas (right next to eachother) and have had great success-- Berkley Trout Dough (Flo. Red) and Berkley Power Eggs (Bubblegum) have produced great numbers out of the 20 or so that I've caught in my few trips-- I've also had success with the Rooster Tails (Rainbow 1/16oz and Silver 1/8oz) and only one on a Mepps Aglia (Size 0, Plain Gold)-- Size 10 Salmon Egg hooks for the Power Eggs, Size 12 Treble hooks for the dough! I use 4lb and 6lb test mono (I wanna try fluro and may use this for a leader going forward)- I have not had luck on my Panther Martin, Kastmaster, Blue Fox, Rapala Craw/Countdown lures yet-- Here are some of the one's that I actually pictured-- Going again Sunday to put friends on some fish!!
