Good evening, I ordered a humminbird 859ci sonar/gps, I'm replacing my 698 down imaging/ side imaging graph. The graph hasn't came in yet I'm just trying to figure out if the 859ci just having sonar not side imaging will the sonar on the 859 work off the traducer to the 698, it is a side imaging transducer. The hook up might not even be the same I'm not sure as I'm new to humminbird. Thanks in advance!!

Yes you can.
Same plug on the transducer cable.
The 859ci HD Combo and 698ci HD SI Combo use the same two 2D frequencies (83/200 kHz)
