Little man is counting the days!! He said too many people are catching three pounders so he's going for a 4lbr!!  I told him maybe he should let his old man catch a 3lbr then. And be sure to take pics and not stick his 4lbr on a stringer in a pond when he catches it! Gonna be on Fork this weekend!! Maybe his 4lbr will bite!!

Wish they were serving up fried crappie with all the fixins...that's would be great  
Katchin krappie...doin surgeries(filleting)...and givin hott grease baths until krunchy and golden brown is what it's all about!!!

Just curious how many people will be going and fishing from the banks? I am thinking about it but I have never fished Lake Fork before.

Just curious how many people will be going and fishing from the banks? I am thinking about it but I have never fished Lake Fork before. No reason it can't be done. George Ward has the Fork black crappie record of 3.92#. Caught off the dock at minnow bucket. Whale

Not sure about bank access since Fork is surrounded by private land. First week of April, they should be up shallow so if you have the right spot, no reason you can't catch 'em.
Raul Sandoval has fished from a kayak both years and placed in the top 10; second last year with a 2.45 lb fish for $2000.
