If you were fun-fishing Friday afternoon in the Bonham/Honey Grove area would you choose Lake Bonham or Lake Davy Crockett?

I'd vote for Crockett. Always done better there.

Just be ready to wash your boat, trailer and truck afterwards at Crockett - they are working on the roads still.

Go all the way to Honey Grove and take 100 north. You will avoid a lot of that nasty road work. I vote for Crocket too. Be sure you are up to par on the slot. Bonham is always good for a fish or two but it's got a lot of pressure these days.
