Anyone else have problems with this line? I have now lost 3 spinnerbaits and 2 jigs to this line. snaps for no apparent reason. never at the knot, usually 3-10ft above my lure. I use the 20lb. i dont feel like this line should be doing this, and i have tried several different spools as well as constantly check my line for fray. Thoughts?

Braid isn't very abrasion resistant-better with a fluro leader.
That being said-suffix 832. A better braid IMO.

I love that braid been using the 50/65lb for all my flipping and frogging and its treated me very good. I hate using the smaller diameter braid on casting reels only time I have 15/30lb braid is spinning

I have not had any issues with it and have it on 6 reels. I am about to spool my new reel that I bought with it as well.

I'm honestly not a fan of any of the "slick" braids. Maybe it's my style of fishing but I've broke them all

Get whatever flouro you want, and I'll bring my braid, and rub it on a stump lets see who breaks first. How much of your money do you want me to take??? ps I use flouro a ton too That said, the only "slick" braid I like is Samuri braid. I threw out my seagar braid and the power pro slick. That said if you don't want to do that, re-evaluate your knot... it may be slipping

I use it in 50lb and 65lb and have no problems with it...love it! You might be going to light for the type fishing you are doing.

I use 30LB on my spinning gear. Works great no break offs.

20lb is way too thin for bass fishing imo, use a bigger size

The worst thing about slick is it gets loops when I'm casting. Other than that, it casts really smooth when it doesn't loop. I've had the same line on a reel for about 2 years and it's still solid!! Never broken it off. I have had seaguar invizx break really strangely in 3 different sizes on 5 different reels all inside the spool. turns out it was a bad batch that got hot or something in the truck and they don't sell a lot of line in midland so it took a while for them to get through it. All that to say is Maybe it's just a batch problem.

I had lots of breaking issues with the slick in heavy cover. Went back to original suffix and 832....no breaks since

Never had a problem with Super Slick. But I do think 20lb is a small for casting gear.

50# or 65#. Watch which knot you tie. The knots will slip loose.

I tried it for awhile, I always seemed to have problems with it. It is the worst IMO in regards to binding up in the spool, lets say you get hung up on something and try to pull it lose, well the line will be so messed up on your reel that it will need to be cut into.
I like the original power pro better, I have recently switched most of my rigs to Samurai braid, so far it is pretty awesome stuff but I haven't really put it to the test yet, that will be when the frog bite gets strong.
