So when you head south, under the Eldorado bridge you come to timber. Navionics has "flooded Timber" all over the map area, what is the best path to get by it? Or should I just idle through?

I always go to the left and veer toward Cottonwood and then along shoreline that is on the left. The trees are covering about 1/2 the lake. They are by far most underwater right now. That is a long way to idle out to main lake. I usually don't fly but do get on pad. Most people do the same, after you watch a few do it you will get the general area it is plenty wide.

Follow the river channel through the middle or run left until you get to the point and then cut right, towards tee cut in the old dam. Used to run it at night this way. Hope this helps. Kinda run it in the middle on the left side, not too close, not too wide. NOT responsible for what happens, you are at your own risk. Get about 80-90% to the point (at the mouth of Cottonwood) before you cut over.
