Here's some valuable advice sunset and I think everyone will agree with me. DO NOT buy a used boat without first having the engine checked by a reputable mechanic. You can visually check the boat for bad signs but the engine is a whole different ball game and trust me, the price boat you're looking for is going to have a bunch of hours on it. Many of the older motors have a tendency to have a failure with the oiling system and you end up mixing the oil with the gas manually. I recently bought a 2001 Skeeter but it had a 2014 Yamaha SHO with 82 hours on it. I could easily get another 400 hrs. with no problems if I properly maintain it. Hope you find what you're are looking for but be really careful.
