With the rain we received creeks should muddy some. What would y'all throw? Dark colored plastics or bright colored moving baits? How much do you think the temp drop will affect the water temp?

Lucky Craft SKT Spinnerbait I'd definitely go for a Crack Blue colored spinnerbait in this cold, muddy water. The blades on this bait turn with the even the slightest movement of the reel handle. The paint job on this spinnerbait is so cool and natural. Throw this bait around secondary points and have some fun.

The muddier the water the more pronounced.....Louder colors than normal, wider wobbles and rattles when you can get away with it. I don't get discouraged in stained waters, I have caught some really good fish in the soup.

Square bill, chatter bait, lipless, if that don't work. Slow down and throw a X-rap in the Clown color or bright White, in the last month my wife and I have had them find it with a shocking 6inches of visibility. If that fails jet to the bank and flip bushes.

Black and blue jig. Like said above, it's a go to and is very versatile.

After a few days of it being muddy the fish seem to acclimate on Rayburn on Rayburn anyway. Try a gold Colorado blade spinnerbait. If you're in brush and grass maybe a black n blue beaver. Good luck cold muddy water can make the fishing pretty tough.

I've had good success slow rolling a Pepper Custom Baits Fred Rambounis Signature Swim Jig in the shad pattern with a Kicker Fish Tail Slapper 4.8" in Silver Shiner as a trailer. Just caught a 6 pounder on Sunday and lost a much larger bass the same day on this setup.
Big Baits! Thick Lines! Equals Heavy Weights!

All tackle stores are currently sold out of what Zach Hughes posted a picture of...
Spinnerbaits and RattleTraps usually do good to locate fish in muddy water.
