Will the rains that we have had push the bass further back or pull them closer to the bank. Up north, the fish would move in because the water would be colder than the rain. I just don't know about down here.

depending on the lake, I don't think the fish will push too far one way or the other. The biggest effect you will have is if the run off stains the water. It's harder to catch fish in dirty water. If you fish today or tomorrow look for clean water and start there. Lately tons of shallow fish have been the trend....good luck.

My plan is to head to Fork. Personally I dont mind dirty water but it seems that the fish down here don't like it for some reason.

you are right...fish down here really don't like it. BUT doesn't mean they dont eat. Fork is about to be on fire...hope you have a great trip. I'm headed to Rayburn for the next 3-4 days...should be fun
