What are your experiences? Seems to me as time has gone by these reels have the same components as we used years ago for the same price point. Lots of reels have gone up in quality and their prices reflect it. For me it's a matter of diminishing returns...

So I'm curious if you've used one and how it's held up?

I have had one for 2-3 years and it has worked flawlessly for me, I would not hesitate to buy another one. Think I picked mine up new off eBay for around 80 bucks.

Thanks Brad. The more I read the specs and the online reviews the more I'm leaning towards trying a couple of them

Same here. I have the Orra SX and the Orra Winch. I have no issues with either. I also use a Lews BB2 on my swim bait rod and although it is a great reel I can't say that it performs any better than the Orra Winch. They are both about same age and both have held up and works flawlessly. I compare these two because they are in the same reel types but the Lews costs considerably more.

Great reel for around $80 on EBay. I've got two SX and two Winches. I'll buy another for sure.

I use the SX and winch both on multiple setups. These reels have worked great for me and I will continue to add more.

There nice reels for the money. I have the Orra Winch and love it for my cranking rods.

Have a couple of sx's and winches, one of the winches I have is the original model they came out with, still performs perfectly. Since I have big hands the only drawback for me is the small crank handles but I replace them with bigger ones. IMO for the money u cant beat em. I have about 10 Revo sx's that I am about to retire due to old age, these too are the original revos that came out, and when I do I will replace them with the Orra's
