The only BPS bait I ever fished was a buzzbait and it flat didn't spin and was useless, so I never bought another. But if you look at their website, most of their baits have good reviews. Obviously the reason I'm asking is because they're cheap as dirt. Anyone use them? Specifically curious about their squarebills.

I tried their squarebills last year. They caught fish but I didn't think that they fish as well as some other brands. They ran a little weird

I got some BPS brand shakey heads a couple weeks ago that have done great. I was hesitant, but they were the only brand with the design I was wanting to try. To my surprise, they've been great, and reasonably priced. Not sure about the plastics though.

No also. Name brands seem to perform better-whether its soft plastics or hard baits. The one exception-I like their tender tubes and their double dipped tubes.

Their boats? Haha. Harsh man. At least compare them baits to their terminal tackle since their boats share 99% of the parts and brands that EVERY boat uses.
Reasons I don't use BPS baits? The plastics are hard and lack action, their hard baits are cheaply made and run crooked every time, their paint on the lures Chios and peels easily. Their hooks seem to rust WHILE you fish them. In general, Bass Pro is shiesty. They sell boot leg Seagaur Red label. Non level wound. And priced along the lines or InvisX.
BPS pretty much is a regular old rip off. Even their "BPSSK" sku Stike King products are made a crappy as possible. If I were SK, I'd refuse to make BPS a more profitable product for them to sell only. If for any reason, I'd refuse (if I were SK) because I would not want a customer to think the crappie BPS version of Stike King is synonymous with the normal SK quality.
Eat. Sleep. Fish.

I used to catch a lot of fish on some of their soft plastics that have been discontinued for quite some time now, mainly their triple ripple lizard and caterpillar worm. Haven't used any of their baits in years now.

Based on a lot of the above posts where do most of you go to purchase your lures if not BP? not surprised on the negative feedback on BP brand lures but surprised to hear some of their name brand stuff isn't the same as you would get elsewhere
