Hey anyone got any news on the crappie at Tawakoni?

Cousin of mine suggested we head that way and fish a bridge that has rocks along the shore.

Never been on the lake so any suggestions / reports would be much appreciated.

I think it may be too early? Also worriewd about water levels with all the rains this year/

Thanks

Too early for the rocks but look around bridge pilings. If you have never been on tawakoni, get a map. Lake is about a half foot over the spillway

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Do you mean the two mile bridge or is there another one I don't know about?

Keep on toward Emory on 276 past 2 mile. Sky point ramp is close.
