Congrats! Curious why did you keep the lowrance mounted below it?

I haven't fully committed to moving it up front. It also has all my old waypoints on it, so I'm going to keep both going for a while to mark them on the other unit. I have a sonar unit up front, and I'll probably move this one up front after I build up the courage. I've also thought about using the Lowrance for mapping or DI and leaving the Helix on full screen SI all the time.

I was wondering that too. I'll have to test that out. Maybe I can keep one on 800khz and the other on 455?

Nice, hope you get a lot of enjoyment with it. I am enjoying my 999 even though I still am not any better at catching fish, but at least I see them once in a while. If bait fish were crappie I could stock every freezer in north Texas...
