Put a cover or hole-shot plate on the bottom of the jackplate so there is no vertical surface to reflect the sonar pulses.

What you have is very typical for the side looking imaging technology-it records sonar pulse echoes of stuff to the sides.
I copied this screen shot several years ago with the same thing.



You will see those lines on the SI view also
