Launched at airport Saturday at 0700. Went only as far as the narrows. Caught 18 by 10:00. Then, the bite literally turned off like a switch; literally. Traveled further up to the rapids, saw the crowds, and turned back around. Since I only had a Troller with me, this too a while. Went back yo my original spot and finished out my limit. The afternoon bit was slow, but they were there. Roughly a 50/50 split between males and females. All fish were caught on a 3 inch chartreuse curly tail grub on a matching roadrunner head. Fish were hanging on the higher bank. Also caught a nice carp on said curly tail; no kidding. All said, it was a great day.
