Jeff is a great guy who shares his knowledge here for many fisherman. I have personally fished with him and that darn Thumper thingy at PK. We share spots back and forth and I put him on the whites with advice of one of my old timer friends at PK. When I fished with him I witnessed the screen go from slightly a fish to full. I got to see the difference. Since I make logos I decided to make his for the Thumper and share it here. "Yes I am still here and yes I still do logos for free for fishermen only."

I usually play Michael Jackson real loud with bass as my thumper. It seems like they like Michael best. Not the old stuff when he was a kid but the newer stuff. I think its the bass frequency. LOL.

Thanks a bunch, Tim! I appreciate all the help I can get. On the water and on this forum, also.

Do you use the thumper strictly during the winter deadstick season or is this something you use during spring and summer structure fishing as well?

All year long, just not as often in the spring/summer. Fish are generally easier to catch at those times because they are in shallower water. Except deep summer when fish are staying in colder water temps down deep. It also is best to use a lighter thump sound then. IMO Different folks have differing thoughts. Whatever works is my motto.
