has anyone used zoom super flukes for inshore reds specks or flounder? ill be heading to keith lake in the kayak this next week and plan on taking some. what colors? ive got white ice rainbow shad i pretty much have a good variety of colors. ill be using a 3/0 worm hook. not sure if i need to use a jig head or not. i catch alot of bass on flukes hopefully they will work inshore as well any advice will be appreciated

Yes they work. Just rig normally like your used to. Rig a jighead if your not around a bunch of cover. You'll get more distance. A boot tail can out fish them at times.

Thanks mr. Bayou, ive got them in all colors picked up some white ice as well, i picked up some strike king redffish magic flats jig heads in chartruce and pearl they are 1/4 ounce they didnt have any in 1/8. i know when fishing sabine and calccheau white curtail grubs work on a jig head tipped with a shrimp bite i caught my biggest at calcechei (however you spell it) 7.5 lb

El Grande makes a salt water boom r ang (soft jerk bait) that will last a couple of more fish than the zoom.

thanks Mr. panhandle ill check them out. what colors do you think for stained saltwater. im gonna be in the marshes. kind of thinking the albino shad the rainbow shad etc something that simulates a mullet

They'll work, but they are so soft the saltwater fish will have them torn up really fast. I like norton sand eels better, same action with a much tougher plastic. I rig on 1/8 oz oldham screw lock heads, and it takes a lot of fish to finally shred it off that head.
