Occasional user of the Big Sandy ramp on Lake Lewisville in Shady Shores. Went to Corps office on Mill Ave. in Lewisville, the ramp/dock repairs will be a local maintenance project. The good news - a Congressional budget line item won't be needed for the Big Sandy work. Bad news - nothing started as of today. Ramp looks ok except for one small area of broken pavement off to the side - small patch needed. The floating dock is up on the parking lot - apparently ripped off the walkway - in the photo some metal framework is visible in the now-lower water off the end of the walkway. Ramp appears to be undamaged - rip-rap and concrete ok - in fact, the high water probably protected it from strong wave action.
