The day started off before the sun came up, just to beat the crowds, and it worked pretty good. With the moon setting early, we knew the bite was going to fire off before the sun came up. Our first wade was the best of the 5 we made. The other stops only produced 2-3 fish. Most fish were caught on plum and chartreuse soft plastics, crank baits, and some Corkys. We fished in mostly knee to thigh deep water in the back marsh. These boys kept grinding and it all paid off in the end. Great group of guys to fish with and we have lots of fishing stories to tell, that's what it's all about!
