Anyone tried the rapala cordless fillet knife? I'm thinking if buying one, but am concerned the blade oscillation speed won't be fast enough. Thoughts?

YouTube some videos if you can. From what I've seen, it should work well enough.

The Rapala cordless came in yesterday. Needless to say it went right back. The trigger was uncomfortable, it wasn't balanced very well, and the blade oscillation was noticeably slower than a 110v knife.

I would guess that does it for the Rapala cordless, unless you are slicing bread or something like that.

never seen a cordless or 12v with enough speed or torque to get the job done. i recommend american angler, they arent cheap but they will tackle even the tough jobs like redfish

One catfish guide I know uses a 110 volt off an inverter on his truck.

I have the cordless lithium model, and it did well initially. I have filleted up to 10 2-8# blues at once. Then it got where you had to hold it just right for the trigger to work, and now needs to be taken apart, and fixed if ever used again.
