Will be taking the kids to Choke this coming spring break. We have fished it once and had some luck. Just seeing what you guys on here would suggest for bait. On poles we used Big Marv's, on trot lines we used squid but that got expensive fast. What bait works really good on this lake, and will anyone b out there fishing March 13-19? Thanks in advance.

cut carp works great out there on limb lines and jugs also live bluegill. theres plenty at wes cooksy park

I don't know what most use but I use cut hog liver covered with salt and garlic....of course live bait for night fishing...homemade soap...cut skip jack shad ...that will get ya started with luck.
