Thinking about purchasing a Hydrowave. Deal or dud.
Has anyone been in a situation where they knew it made a difference?

It's a great product that will work if used properly. Take the time to learn it and you will never be without one.

The way I look at it is it is another catalyst that changes the environment just like wind, current, cloud cover, etc. It can have both positive and negative effects but ultimately it does change the environment. The trick is to understand when to use it and which situations it is optimal.

To clarify, the negative effect is it may draw the bait away from the bottom closer to the boat which will make the fish suspend. On the positive to this, the fish will typically be active and be feeding.

The two reply's are spot on. The HydroWave is a tool like anything else. You will never have anyone say that the HydroWave has hurt them. I am honest guy and will say that it will not work ever time on the water but more times than not it will help add fish to the boat.
