I've really been trying to catch some Catfish from the banks at Lady T the last few weeks with zero luck. I've used fresh cut shad, dip baits, gizzards, worms and cut perch. I'm been fishing wind point and on the south end by holiday. I do not have boat so its all bank fishing and I've tried up close and out as far as I can cast, and I can cast a decent distance. I've fished with the 25mph winds in my face and my back, braved all cold nights with no luck. What am I doing wrong?

I have had some of the same luck on Lewisville, you just have to be where they are.. have you tried chumming Range cubes, Corn, etc? to draw them in? also how many Poles the more the merrier. What Rig style are you using 3way swivel? Santee Cooper?

I haven't tried chumming, it seems like that would be something you have to do often to make a difference. we usually have between 6-8 poles set out. I typically use a santee cooper style rig, sometime we use a 3way set up. The thing is I have killed in these spots in the past but cant seem to get jack squat anymore. I know the lake is full of fish I just can get them to bite and eventually you start getting that weird look from the wife when you come home for the 50th time with nothing to show not even a picture.....

Im at lewisville too. Nothing also, zero luck in the past couple months. Dont feel bad these floods this year has everyone struggling. Unless you got a boat or just run into dumb luck one day it seems

I struck out at the old public boat ramp by holiday last week, not even a bite.
