I have a 1991 Ranger 497VS fish and ski that the set post keep getting stuck, there is a bushing that goes into the mount that I need to replace but I have no idea what brand the post is. Does anyone know what brand seat post Ranger uses I would rather buy from eBay and save some money
Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst

Brand is not as important as type of the base. In my 1986 the original seat posts are 1.77" diameter and have no retaining clips. My front one is hard to get out sometimes even though I have a new base and fairly new pole. I know Ranager switched styles some time after I bought mine. Swivel-Eze is the brand that I have bought but there are many different styles.

Just call Ranger and get it. It won't be that much more and you won't have to send it back because you got the wrong one from Ebay.
