Very nice tie! My only suggestion would be to shorten the body closer to the hook point. It will open the gap of the hook helpin in hooksets.

The jig is great the way it is for in the water use. But can be made to look a little better in the back of body by keeping the body wrap tight and small [when going to the bend of hook]. Until you get it back to hook point. Its the way its done on wide gap hooks. The jig looks real good.

SK, looking good. Weave is a fun thing to do, frustrating to get it perfect, but thats part of why we tie.

Congrats on the catching!

They should like this color in pretty stained water IMHO! Just stained I like a Blue or Black Body and Chart everything else. If I can see my jig down 3' or more I want a Silver type body or something more baitfish looking.
