Does any one know of a aftermarket cover that I can purchase for my Helix 9 &10 that will stay on while trailering my boat. Loat another one today ,

I use a sonar sock, you can Google them. Made by a tffer.

I bought two from Riveratackle.com and they make a great cover. They stay put going 70+ mph down the highway.

I use a dog collar around mine on my 1198 to hold it in place. Got it at Big Lots for $5.

What exactly is the upshot for trailering your electronics? I can install both of mine in the parking lot in less than 5 minutes before I put in. If you are within a few miles of the ramp I can see why but otherwise trailering electronics just doesn't make sense to me.

Home Depot sells velcro straps and I just wrap a piece around it a couple of times and done.
