Well, he's at it again? An Ebook, JC is no writer as a matter of fact, he claims lots of things. He thinks he's a writer, notice his little slogan he posts in every report �As the Admiral Seas It� a little play on words and the guy thinks he's something special. An Admiral? JC! I do know? but the guy has penciled a couple cool, catchy tunes and here is the name of the songs in case you ever have a chance to run across them on ITUNES. Jc Sportfishing Charters is a family owned and operated business and has been fishing in Cabo San Lucas for the past 18 years. Jerry, explains that his charter business is geared more for families and novice anglers, making sure everyone who charters a boat with him have a great time and lots of fun. We welcome families, and groups. We want everyone who fishes with us to take all the sites in and have a memorable experience. This is what is most important to us. We have and do a few tournaments each year and can cater to fisherman who might be interested in tournament fishing. Well lets get on with the fishing report for this past week.
WEATHER: Well, yesterday was cloudy and overcast and a couple drops of rain, but most of the week has been really nice weather with most everyday sunny and warm and calm winds. Overcast yesterday, but today back to normal with sunshine and highs in the mid 80,s and lows in the low 60,s. Really great spring break weather and it is so typical of Cabo and that is something you can't take away of this destination, the great weather.
WATER: Most of the water temperatures in our fishing grounds are 72 to 74 degrees, but there is some 76 degree water due south of the Arch and Cabo San Lucas Bay. The warm water is lingering out there and it seems to be confusing Marlin as they are hit and miss and seem not to know what to do. The water temp this year has been all over the map, especially the last month or so.

BILLFISH: It's so up and down its really hard to say how it will be this upcoming week, but we are hopeful as we have great weather. From the Light House to Ranch Migrino has been good for Marlin and we are using live bait and lure about 2 miles off the beach. What is good about this is we don�t have to run far to get into the Striped Marlin if they're hitting. This week whatever we are catching whether it is Marlin, Wahoo or Dorado we are really working for them, well so what, we live and work in a great area and that�s fishing anyway.
DORADO: Not bad all this week for Dorado but we are working hard for them and they weren't coming easy, but we are getting 3 or 4 fish per boat and most are really nice fish in the 30lbs range. Most are being caught between the Light House and Rancho Migrino and being landed by slow trolling ballyhoo.
WAHOO: Its been pretty good Wahoo fishing all this week as we have landed quite a few nice fish and we are really happy about that. I think we are lucky this time of year to be catching so many and we are using live bait underneath the Dorado on the bait balls. Anyway, its working good so we are not changing it!!
TUNA: None!!! I haven�t heard of a lot of of Tuna being landed this past week. If you do run into them, I think you will have to run offshore about 25 to 35 miles to maybe run into them if you can find a school of Porpoise.
INSHORE: Lots of Sierras from the Solmar up to the Pump House and we are getting them on hootchies and striped bait. Some Red Snapper up at Margarita Rocks and we are pitching live bait to them in the rocks. We haven�t seen our Yellowtail run yet probably cause we have 76 degree water sitting due south of us about 2 to 3 miles.

Baja Shrimp Tacos?
Ingredients

� 1 lb. shrimp
� 2 tsp. Mexican seasoning or chili powder
� 2 tsp. oil
� 3 c. bagged coleslaw mix
� 0.333 c. spicy or regular ranch dressing
� 0.25 c. chopped cilantro
� 8 soft, taco-size flour tortillas
� 1 Hass avocado
� Salsa
Directions
1. Heat contact grill. Meanwhile, toss first 3 ingredients in a bowl. In another bowl, mix next 3 ingredients.
2. Place shrimp on grill; close and grill 2 minutes, or until cooked through.
3. Top tortillas with slaw, then shrimp and avocado, and roll up.
Baja Shrimp Casserole!
Ingredients
2 Tbsp. canola oil

1 bag (16 oz.) H-E-B Fajita Vegetables

1 bag (16 oz.) peeled Gulf Shrimp (thawed)

1/2 Tbsp. crushed red pepper (optional)

� salt and pepper

1 bag (16 oz.) H-E-B Spanish Rice

Instructions
Spray a 13 x 9-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
Place the bag of fajita vegetables in the microwave, heat on high power for 2 minutes and drain. Heat a heavy bottom skillet for 3 minutes on high. Add the oil and fajita vegetables and stir-fry for 4 minutes or until golden brown. Add the shrimp and stir fry for 2 minutes. Sprinkle with crushed red pepper if desired on the shrimp mixture and season to taste with salt and pepper. Heat Spanish rice according to package directions. Evenly spread the shrimp mixture over the rice.Cover the dish with plastic wrap and microwave on high power for 1 minute and serve.
BEWARE: Please beware of the guys in the street selling boat charters. If you wait till the day you are fishing and go to the dock where your boat is many times people will mislead you to another boat or dock trying to put you on a boat that was not meant for you. You need to have a person guide you to your boat, who is from a reputable charter company. This way there is no confusion or misleading. Please remember when renting Sport fishing boats in Cabo that you rent your boat from reputable and established business. Walk into a fishing fleet office and ask questions about what you are getting and what are the costs? You don't want to rent boats from vendors in the streets and you do not want to book through shady websites offering you the world. Check through travel forums about reputable fishing fleets to deal with. Look for testimonials about the fleet your booking, your charter with. Ask about what will the boat be supplying? Will it include beverages or lunches? How much does it cost to fillet your catch? Check to see if charter boat is insured? Ask about getting your catch smoked? Check cost of a fishing license. These are just a few things to consider when booking your charter boat. We will be talking more about this in the next weeks fishing report.
