that is exactly what they are. Not sure why they are including them I would just use the ones already in the boat. Threw me off when I saw the pic. I really want to do a little more testing before I pull the trigger on the control. Cables are relatively new and issue started with reverse and moved and has grown to include neutral button too so I am pretty confident the problem is in the control itself.

Those early controls have to have the shift cable adjusted just right for distance from neutral to forward and reverse to be the same and the throttle not to pickup same both ways or the indent(throttle only) will not work right.

yep, I found that out when I replaced cables a few years ago. I have all of the original installation guides if needed. I have not made any adjustments for years and last summer I just started noticing that it kind of hanging up at times going in to reverse and later in the summer the throttle only button was harder to push in. Nothing major but just the feeling that something is not quite right.
