Fished a couple of weeks ago at a lake loaded with spotted bass. I don't fish much for largemouth/spotted bass, but I kind of lucked into this and caught them on slab spoons in about 20 feet of water. Caught about 40 in the day from 1-2.5 lbs. One of them had a mustache, similar to the mohawk crappie, but on its mouth. Anybody seen this before?

I've been catching a lot of bass with black splotches all over them.

Yup, last winter. I forget the explanation for it but common nowadays it seems.
