Do you have a pic of the rock bass? I've never seen one in TX but looked up that they have been caught in the Nueces. Thought they were found further North like Pumpkins.

Rock bass are caught in the San Marcos. That is where the state record was caught. The people around Somerville call this rock bass. I might be misidentifying it. It's possible it's a Warmouth. But it was lighter in color than previous Warmouth I caught.

I'd buy you a 6pack for that Warmouth to put in my tank.

I've caught a few. I'm not sure how to transport them though. I guess you will just have to come down and fish with me. Of course, we won't be able to find them when you come, LOL.

Kinda looks like it's a warmouth, but body colors look like a rock bass. Doesn't have a rock bass body shape or eye color. Then again the picture angle isn't the best for fish identification. Wish there was a picture of it laying flat, it would be much easier. hmmm
