I have a gen-2 hds 12 front and rear in my boat. My side scan/ structure works perfect but my down scan stopped reading on both units, I get wAter temp but zero depth reading.....??? Also I have a sonar hub and Spotlight imaging but for some reason I can only get the spotlight image option on the console unit and not on the nose of the boat where I need it lol. Any help???

I have a nine and a seven, same problems. I am on the fourth 7. my nine this is the third one in less than two years. their service has gone downhill. last one took 12 weeks to get it fixed. I just said the heck with it. been a Lowrance all my life, since the original green box. not anymore.

I'd love to help but just reading your setup confuses me. Do this, retype it and tell the following.


The bow graph is a 12 and it is tied to what? Sonar hub, right?


Console has a lss2 directly attached, right? No LSS module.

Simple start is did you update the bow graph to a update that allows the spotlight feature? Did you turn on the spotlight feature in the advanced menu?

Take the Ethernet cable off of your console graph and get the bow & spotlight working first, then hook it back up. Baby steps here.

If your SI is working and your just getting a blank screen on DI then you lost the DI crystal.

You are correct in my set up. Thanks for the info. I will try all of these steps tonight. If my DI crystal is out will that require another LSS transducer?

Yes it will, no way to fix them. Why do you have the sonar hub hooked up to the bow? It's not needed or am I missing something with your setup? What I don't understand is how your getting SI and the spotlight at the console. You should only be getting one or the other. Get that hub disconnected and start over. It might even be the problem with your DI.
