Can anyone recommend a good evinrude mechanic around eagle mountian saginaw area that is not to over priced? Does anyone have any experience with nomad marine have read bad things online and i have had my boat with a mechanic for over a year and he never fixed it the motor is a 94 evinrude 200 runs great on water hose and idels fine but will not get on plane does have a backfire every once in a while and has fuel coming out of the carbs think it may be a float but tired of banging my head on it any advice or help would be great.

Tommy Yetts at Rockwall Marine. Well spent money to get it done right. I can't afford a new motor price. I've been told by many that this is one of the best older motors ever made. Mine is a 94' Evinrude 200 Vindicator. Pushes a 98' Triton Tr20 at 5600 rpm/68mph GPS with 4 blade 24, 10" SCP Jackplate set 3" below pad. 1/2 tank fuel. Get those carbs done right & if everything else is good you'll be well pleased. Keep us posted.
