Just bought a boat and want to find some big blues on lewisville. I have been a bank fisher my whole life but feel like a novice on the water! I have all the gear, hd sonar, tackle, etc. would like some tips on where to start looking. I drop in at Stewart creek. Any info would be much appreciated

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new boat!
Can't give any tips cause I haven't been on the water in 2 months because of a busted up knee. From reading other reports it seems this warm winter weather has them scattered and not following normal patterns. Best advise I can give you would be to book a guided trip with Lewisville Catfish Guide - Tom Gravely.

If you pick me up I'll show you some big catfish. You can easily drift fish the whole lake so start on one end and put your bait down and try to drag it to the other side without getting hung up. When you catch a fish just remember that spot and you can go back there if you think you can catch more. I like to keep moving.

Best thing to do is hire a guide and ask them all the questions you have while you are out on water .
