I've mentioned a few times on here before the importance of TIME VARIABLE GAIN (TVG)

Here is a great article on how it works and how to use your humminbird to locate LARGE fish.

Be sure to like my page, haven't been real active on it lately but i'll get back in the swing of things.

Y'all didn't stay long Saturday, any luck? Next time we are both on the water, and once I get my boat back, I want you to hop on board and have a look at mine and give me a crash course. It's only a 999 so not the greatest but I want to be sure I'm getting the best out of it. I've threatened Rick with doing the same next time I catch him on the water.

What is that supposed to mean? A 2 pound fish will show the same size arch in 10ft of water as he will in 50ft of water in clear mode. If you are running max mode especially without experience you will think you are on the mother load everywhere you go!
