But finished strong. Went out to the lake this afternoon for a couple hours of fishing before sundown. I wore the yellow bass out but could not get the crappie to pay me any attention. Finally about an hour before dark I started getting some crappie bites on a blue/white 1/8 oz. hand tie. About 30 minutes before dark a boat moved out from under the bridge we were fishing so I eased over and started fishing where that boat was sitting and THUMP...there they were. Put 12 more in the cooler lickity split and left em biting when I headed for the ramp...it was dark. Used a double rigged Bobby Garland shad in Blue Ice, probably about 10 ft. down.

Sad story about the beer... it was the only one left in the fridge and I was really looking forward to it while driving home from the lake. The wife brought it to me and said "Oh yeah, I used half of this beer to marinate the steaks we had the other night". That's why I didn't even bother to take the top of it. roflmao

Nice catch, Mike. That cold Coors made my mouth water...if it was a BudLight, it might have pulled me off the wagon!
