Water temp in the back of the creeks is 60 degrees in the afternoon. Caught a few slots on red rattle traps this afternoon in about 5 ft. I only fished Little Caney. Caught the fish in the small protected shallow coves on the right side of the creek, if you are going up the creek. Wind out of the north today. Showers early morning. Off the water at 3:30 pm.
Fishing should only get better this week with the warming temps. Very few fishermen out today. Really nice day to be on the water before the onslaught begins.

I thought it would be busy today with some people being off for Prez Day. I was the only trailer at Mustang Ramp today.

Yes, only one other trailer at the Lake Fork Marina ramp also. Give it a week.
