Headed to Falcon this weekend to do (mostly) bass fishing, but I was wanting to test the waters on the crappie, too. Anyone fished there recently? Water temps? Any pointers?

Fished Falcon three days last week. Crappie is still good in the Valeno, close to new bridge they are building. The two high line poles on your right are good as well as submerged brush on creek channel. Some were doing pretty good fishing right at the new road base along a buoy line, just hooked there trolling motors over the line and gave em hell. There is an 8' pipe the contractor put in there to connect the two bodies of water while they are building the new bridges. The pipe is underwater right in the middle of the bridge span.

You won't have any trouble finding the hot spots as there are usually 6 to 12 boats there all day long. Also, water was about 60 to 61 degrees and about 18' deep.

Cool deal, thanks. Were you or anyone else catching them up shallow yet?
